Angel Care Baby Monitor

Rating: 9
Description:
The Angel Care Monitor will work easily as a sound monitor but also as a motion sensor. It comes with a pad that you place under the crib mattress and makes a light distinct sound, like a clock, whenever it senses movement in the crib. Should the baby stop breathing an alarm goes off within 20 seconds to alert you. The sensor pad is so sensitive that it detects a baby’s breathing.
This monitor allows you to have the peace of mind of knowing that should your baby stop breathing you will be alerted right away. No alarm means your baby is sleeping peacefully which will allow you to as well. At a cost of $99.90 this product is well worth the comfort of knowing your family is safe and sound.
Review:
This monitor is definitely a lifesaver. You can finally get a great night sleep knowing that if your child would have trouble breathing you would know about it right away. This product is one all parents of a newborn/infant should have. It works great! The Angel Care Monitor by Bebe Sounds is a top of the line baby monitor. You will have a tough time finding a better product on the market today.

My friend Kelly McCausey from www.MomsTalkNetwork.com chatted with me today about her favorite places to shop for clothes, her favorite coffee shops and favorite coffee flavors. We ooh’d and aah’d over the awesome Senseo offer for a free coffee machine (it most definitely is not your basic coffeepot!), we laughed a lot, and Kelly defended her opinion about Old Navy
Also, an official congratulations to Betty R. of http://nannabees.blogspot.com/ for winning our Miss Charge-It Halloween costume!! Send us your picture when you’re all dressed up!
Mentioned on the show today (in addition to Old Navy of course):
- Fashion Bug: Affordable fashions for plus, misses, maternity, juniors and girls
- Senseo: Delicious selection of coffee, tea and single serve coffee pod systems.
- Share Senseo: Apply here to see if you are eligible for a free Senseo machine.
If you’d like to get a $20 off coupon for a Senseo, in case you aren’t approved for a free one or you’d like to purchase one as a gift, email Kelly at kelly@kellymccausey.com or use the contact us form to pick one up from Chele!

Description:
Late night, and you can’t get the baby to wind down? Well, Aveeno has the answer for that! I must say, it is truly like giving your baby spa quality treatment! Aveeno Baby Calming Bath is conveniently packaged in a neutral tone squeeze bottle. Aveeno Baby Calming Comfort Lotion is conveniently packaged in a neutral tone easy to dispense squeeze tube.
Review:
One late night, while shopping the baby isle I came upon the Aveeno Baby Product Line. I was very familiar with Aveeno for adults and absolutely adored their products, so I decided to try their baby line.
I put three to five squirts into the bath and about two minutes later I put the baby into the bath. I enjoyed the smell of lavender and vanilla entwined creating an aromatherapy like environment. Within five minutes my baby was relaxed. No kicking and turning as usual and no more fifteen to twenty minute bath. He was out in about 5-10 minutes tops. I followed up with Aveeno Baby Calming Comfort Lotion in Lavender and Vanilla.
What I liked best about the product was it’s “non soapy” approach to bathing. I felt comfortable after rinsing off my baby first time that I didn’t have to double or triple rinse the baby. The lotion was light, not heavy, and easy to rub into the baby’s skin. It actually moisturized my otherwise dry all day hands. As I started to dress the baby for bed he fell asleep!
I now have a new approach to getting my baby calm and preparing him for bed at night. I also found a new hand lotion that I can use time and time again. I love Aveeno!

Saeedah Hamahoullah; Lanham, MD
Rating: 10
Description: This is an Avon product that is celebrating its 15th year anti-aging triumph with the new and improved Anew Clinical Advanced Wrinkle Corrector. Avon’s Anew Clinical advanced wrinkle corrector has 50% more glycolic acid which resurfaces the outer dead-layer of skin revealing a more youthful luminous look for your face and neck.
Anew Clinical is designed to build and reinforce skin’s four key structural
components:
- Collegian to help plump out lines and wrinkles.
- Elastins for improved elasticity and resilience.
- Hydro proteins to minimize creasing.
- Shock Absorbing Proteins to help strengthen skin’s support layers
Review:
I personally love this product. I’ve noticed that when I apply Anew Clinical on my face after I have cleansed my face, the cream gives my skin a more firmer feel and look and it immediately plumps out wrinkles and fine lines. Especially a deep wrinkle that I had under my left eye has totally disappeared since I began using Anew Clinical. This is the “At-Home” answer to botox or wrinkle filling injections and is very affordable.
