The warm weather has finally arrived so it’s time to get your garden started! I’m loving my Aerogarden and can’t wait for all those tomatoes to ripen but after my move I’m going to start a larger garden. That way I know it’s all fresh and it won’t cost an arm and a leg!
Even if you don’t have a green thumb, I found some great products that you can use to grow vegetables on your deck. So you can still have fresh vegetables without feeling like you’re a farmer!
My friend Annette Yen from Critters Who Care also introduces us to PeaPod, a grocery delivery program. This is Part 1 of the series and may be the perfect alternative for moms who are super busy or who want to save money by not driving to the store. There’s no way to avoid grocery shopping, especially with growing kids, but do you really know how much things cost? How much do you pay per pound for bananas? How about a gallon of milk? If you just buy these things blindly, you may be overpaying for some of the staples your family uses everyday.
My guest host this week is Carrie Lauth from Natural Moms Talk Radio and she interviewed Janine Bolon, author of Money… It’s Not Just For Rich People. Janine shares how she became a financial counselor and how every family can save thousands of dollars a year by comparing prices of the various grocery stores with a pricebook.
Listen in to get money-saving ideas AND for the “secret phrase” for the “But I Didn’t Get an iPod for Mother’s Day and I Really Really Wanted One” contest!

Do you know your credit score? You should know it because that score will determine whether or not you can get a mortgage or a business loan. Imagine your credit score saving you a bundle or costing you a fortune on one purchase for years to come…
This week my guest host is Carrie Lauth from Natural Moms Talk Radio and she interviewed Elon Bomani from The Dynamic Diva, who counsels women about the importance of good credit and how to consolidate and payoff your debt without declaring bankruptcy.
Elon shares that credit cards, if used correctly, can help us establish our own line of credit. This is important in case of a divorce or death of a husband. Very important information for every woman!
