It comes with a pad that you place under the crib mattress and makes a light distinct sound, like a clock, whenever it senses movement in the crib. Should the baby stop breathing an alarm goes off within 20 seconds to alert you. The sensor pad is so sensitive that it detects a baby’s breathing.

This monitor allows you to have the peace of mind of knowing that should your baby stop breathing you will be alerted right away. No alarm means your baby is sleeping peacefully which will allow you to as well.
