This Laundry detergent is completely natural. There are no dyes, fragrances, animal byproducts, chlorine or any other dangerous chemicals. It is a vegetable based detergent and is never tested on animals. It can be purchased by the case containing 6-50 ounce bottles.
Review:
One of my first concerns after the birth of my child was the laundry detergent I would use to wash her clothes. I was afraid there might be chemicals or dyes that would break my baby out and cause her skin problems she would have to deal with for the rest of her life.
With Seventh Generation Natural Baby Laundry Detergent I don’t have to worry about that any longer. The two things that caught my eye right off the bat were the fact that it’s completely biodegradable and contains no harsh chemicals.
This detergent is completely natural. It contains no chlorine, phosphates, dyes or fragrances. I have to admit when I first read this I thought, “How in the world will it get my clothes clean?” My baby’s clothes not only come out clean but they are soft too. She loves to snuggle with her blankets and being soft to her touch is most important. She loves them and I love the fact that this detergent doesn’t ruin her blankets and clothes.
I also like the idea that there are no animal byproducts used in this detergent. It is made up of a vegetable based formula that works well on getting out stains, but is also gentle on your clothes. It is also good for the environment and your plumbing. They don’t even test it on animals.
Seventh Generation is the leader in non-toxic cleaning products. They have a complete line of products that are safe for you and the environment. I have used many of these products and feel very comfortable with them. I also know that my baby is not only wearing clothes that are soft and safe but that any cleaning product I am using won’t hurt her in anyway.
In my opinion this laundry detergent works just as well as any other baby detergent but is much cheaper and more economical. If you break it down it’s only a little over $5.00 per bottle. Who can beat that? When your baby’s clothes are clean, soft, chemical free and that you’re helping to save the environment and the animals in it, how could you buy anything else? I know I won’t.

This is the perfect memory timer for any new parent, overworked parent or anyone who needs to be on time when taking care of a baby. It includes four timers that count up by just touching a button. It’s completely portable and has a clip so it can be used when those hands are busy with other chores.
It also includes a night-light making it simple to read late at night when you don’t want to turn on the lights and wake the rest of the house. With the optional alarm you can be notified when it’s time to give medications or other chores that need to be completed on a regular schedule.
Review:
Being a first time mother or a mother of multiple babies can be very hard to adjust to. Being a new mother whose been there before can be hard when you’re not getting enough sleep and have the demands of a normal day on top of a new baby. This time system can take away some of that stress and give you more time to just enjoy being a parent.
This timer is so simple it’s hard to believe it’s such a lifesaver. No longer do I have to worry at 1 in the morning if I just fed the baby, changed diapers or slept right through it all. Many times I wake during the night not remembering if I’ve been up or not. Most of the time I have and was in such a fog I can’t even remember it. This timer saves me from those types of scares.
I can set the timer for feedings, diaper changes, medications and even if a bottle is past the expiration time. I feel much more at ease having this wonderful gadget to keep track of these important statistics for me. Leaves me more time for that sleep I never seem to get.
I really like that it helps me keep track of when it’s time to give my child medicine. I have always had a terrible time with remembering when I’m suppose to take more medicine myself. I have gotten somewhat better with my child because with this little device I don’t have to worry. I just set the timer for the next dosage and let it go.
I also like the night-light. My husband and I share our little experience. When it’s my turn at 3 AM I don’t have to worry that I’m disturbing him after he was just up at 1. It also helps when I’m in the baby’s room, to keep for waking him unnecessarily.
The alarms are great also. My husband can just about sleep through anything and he was worried he wouldn’t hear our baby in the night. With the alarms he’s right up and going. It’s great for me also. If I’m cleaning or working around the house I have a tendency to not pay attention to the clock. With the alarm I never have to worry that I’ll miss that afternoon feeding.
I couldn’t live without the baby care timer now. I even take it to the babysitter’s house.

It comes complete with toys all the way around, a comfortable seat that rotates 360 degrees and a motion sensor that activates lights and music when a child jumps up and down.
Review:
When I came across this jumper I was looking for a toy for my baby that would help strengthen his legs but give him hours of play and still be safe. I’ve always trusted Fisher-Price in these areas and started looking there. When I found this toy I knew it was exactly what I was looking for.
First it’s safe. The legs are strong and the seat is sturdy. I never worry that it will collapse when my child is jumping up and down. I also don’t worry that the seat will tear or give way as he plays.
The toys are great. They are bright and easy for my child to grab and hold on to. They are all the way around so he can play in any direction he wants. With the seat being able to turn he never gets frustrated because he can’t reach the toys. The drum on the front is really neat. He loves to make it light up and play the music.
I also like the leaves over the top. It’s such fun to watch him bat at the toys and make them swing around. He giggles every time he gets one. Plus the toys are soft and easy to grab onto. I think all of them are really his favorite.
The bouncing up and down is exciting for him too. He likes the music and bounces almost constantly. His legs are really beginning to build up strength. Sometimes he bounces so much he wears himself out and falls asleep. It’s so adorable to watch him try to stay awake and keep bouncing. The seat always wins out though.
It was so easy to assemble. I wasn’t frustrated nor did I want to just push it in the corner and hope it went away. Plus I can just fold it down to store or take to Grandma’s house. Doesn’t take hardly any time and off we go - Jumperoo and all. It’s easy to clean too. I also like the three levels of adjustment. It grows with my child so I don’t have to worry that I will have to store it away before he’s ready to give it up. Oh yea it’s easy to keep clean too.
If you’re looking for a great toy to keep your baby occupied, giggling and active try this Rainforest Jumperoo. Your baby will be so very glad you did.

Review:
Becoming environmentally healthy and raising your family that way is starting to become the norm. With so many choices and so many companies trying to get us to see things their way it can be hard to know what is right for you and your newborn. This book can help you with those decisions.
One of my biggest concerns with my new baby had to do with what products were safe and healthy for my child. I hear so many stories about how they have found this product to be unsafe or how this food has caused a certain illness in children. When I found this book I became a much better parent because I no longer worried if it was good or bad.
This book is very informative. It gives you references and guides to a much healthier way of thinking and living. It is written by an expert in the field of making the world safe for our children, which helps add to the trustworthiness. I feel very comfortable taking the advice that is written in this book.
It’s easy to read and understand. The index is wonderful. No having to try to figure out where to find the information you need in a hurry. The references are great because you know exactly where you need to go to find out more in-depth information if necessary. It’s not preachy either. The author gives you the information you need and then you decide if you want to pursue it or not. Not one word about how you must do this or this is the only way. I can make the choices I want because I now have all the knowledge I need to make the right choice for myself and my family.
If you are even thinking about raising your child in a natural, organic lifestyle I recommend you get this book. The knowledge you will walk away with once you read it can only help you in making the right choices for you and your family. Here’s to a new way of looking at a healthy life and environment!

We purchased the Infantino Euro Rider Infant Carrier when my
son was about 4 months old. I loved the padded head support area and adjustable side. There is also the option of putting the flap in the front up to help support baby’s head or putting the flap down when baby is turned to look out. This carrier holds children up to 26 lbs. It even has a storage pocket on front, which is perfect for holding little crackers for little hands when child is facing forward.
Review:
I had seen many women with similar carriers and I had been wanting to get one desperately. When we finally went to purchase this one I was ecstatic. This carrier proved to be a great purchase. When we went to the mall, it was great to walk around carrying the baby on me instead of hauling around a bulky infant car seat. I loved having my hands free to browse, as I desired. I also love that you can put the baby in facing you or facing out as they grew. Also, since my son was young during spring and summer, it was great to have this carrier for picnics, walks, and trips to the beach, and even just to have him close to me while I cleaned house
Criticism:
The carrier could be difficult to get on by yourself, however, it usually took two people to get it fastened properly.
