I’ve noticed my husband will use SOME soap and shampoos that I use, but others he won’t. He thinks they are too girly smelling or that they don’t work well for him because they are formulated for a woman’s skin problems. I’m sure he could be right about some of the products. Do you have this same problem? Who knew guys could be as picky as we are about their personal care products?

I confess that I’ve thought about doing a review of the Always Infinity feminine product for a few months, but I’m not usually the type of person to talk about my period. But, I think this is a great product, and I’ll put aside my squeamishness to share with you.

After having 3 kids, I found that tampons didn’t provide the protection I needed. I searched for products that weren’t bulky, or leaky, and wasn’t happy with the choices I found.

I tried the all-natural route (cloth pads, diva cup) but these solutions didn’t fit into my life, and didn’t offer enough protection.

One day my sister suggested I try Always Infinity. They are extremely thin, and absorb an amazing amount. They are soft and not at all scratchy on your skin. I have never had a leak or a problem with the product. They even work great overnight.

The freebie is for a sample size 8 oz. cup mocha or 7 oz. iced mocha – small cup but who’s complaining for free? If you’d like one, visit your local participating McDonalds on Mondays, 7am to 7pm, to get yours.

FREE Music Samplers

I’ve just spent an hour downloading free music samplers from Amazon. I started out looking for a particular song (Boom Boom Pow), but then noticed a free sampler (Amazon Jazz Sampler), and another (Eagle Records Live at Montreux 2009 Sampler [Explicit]), and yet another (Umcg Spring Sampler)

I’m still downloading, but my iPod will have about 70 new songs by the time I go to bed tonight — free (except for the Black Eyed Peas song!)

When you buy MP3′s from Amazon, you have to download their proprietary music download software, but I’ve had no problems with it feeding the music right into iTunes.

These free samplers are great ways to find new music without investing any money. I’ve found musicians that I never heard of before, but have purchased albums based on a free song.
