Easy Steps for Grocery Savings – Show #21
My guest this week is Crystal Paine of Money Saving Mom and she shares some more tips for saving money at the grocery store. Crystal walks us through the bare bones of menu planning and discusses how she has managed to shop for a week’s worth of groceries for only $35.
After you understand the basics of menu planning, then Crystal recommends creating your meal plan based on the grocery store sales but also committing to yourself that you will no longer be an impulse buyer. Travel with your list in hand to the store and stick with it!

I just recently found MoneySavingMom and love the site.
Wow what a great show! Crystal was full of information! And to hear her say that she can feed her family of 4 on $35 a week just proves to me that my budget of $20-25 a week for 2 is absolutely doable!!!
I can’t wait to hear what else she has to say on the next show.
Loved the show. I am a vegan but we love to save too. I practice frugal shopping and share it with other vegan families who think it takes and arm and a leg to buy vegan foods. Not so!
