Kindle App for Blackberry

I am still in love with my Kindle. I have over 100 books on it right now (many of which were free or under $5) and I love being able to carry large reference books in a slim, light option.

I have also enjoyed being able to access all of my Kindle books from my iPhone. For those times when I don’t carry my Kindle, I can always read on my iPhone, albeit with a much smaller screen.

Amazon has just released an application for Blackberry users. You don’t even have to own a Kindle, you can download the app to your Blackberry (or iPhone or PC — a Mac version is coming soon) and then download Kindle books to read via those devices.

I’m still surprised how much I like my Kindle, but I truly think it’s awesome. The only thing I wish is that I could download books from the library easily — but my husband has a Sony e-Reader which allows him to do that for us both.  If a Kindle isn’t in your budget, consider downloading the free apps to read books on your iPhone, Blackberry or PC.
