New Bedding! Where do you find yours?

We bought a new bed last week!  We bought the bed we were sleeping on before we were married, so it’s more than 12 years old.  It had been getting  uncomfortable, and I had been complaining about the size (queen) for years.

We managed to find a great deal on a California King set at a local mattress discount place, so we decided to make the move! It was delivered last Friday, and we’ve slept better since.

I LOVE the bigger bed, but now I’m in the position of buying all new bedding! I had 6 or so sets of queen sheets (which I’m donating this week), and want to get at least 4 sets for our new bed.  I like to sleep on flannel in the winter, so that gives me 2 sets to rotate each season.

I went to a couple stores to find one set to get started – and was surprised at how difficult it was to find California King sheets! At the third store, I finally found a good selection (Bed, Bath & Beyond) and purchased a nice set for just under $60.

We are using our queen size blanket at the moment, but I know I need to find new blankets as well.

So, I’m asking for help!  Where do you find bargain bedding?  I will only sleep on 100% cotton sheets — and prefer higher thread counts.  Other than that, I like to find the best deals!
