Review: Cuisinart Toaster Tongs

My oldest turns 9 in a week. One of the gifts I purchased for him are Cuisinart Wood Toaster Tongs
. Now, I know you may be shaking your head right now, but my son WANTED toaster tongs!

I do what I can to provide opportunities for my kids to be self-sufficient, and that includes making their own toast. We have a toaster oven, and he has burned his fingers (slightly) a couple times on the rack. Which means that he won’t remove his toast from the toaster oven anymore . . . and there goes my self-sufficiency lesson.

When I saw these Toaster Tongs, they seemed perfect. The right size, made of hardwood, and easy to hold. They are simple, but very well-made. I am pleased and I know he will be as well!

And, no, that’s not all we got him for his birthday. His other request? Books.
