Review: Nature’s Gift Aromatherapy

A little over 7 years ago, I decided to switch to cloth diapers.  Washing cloth diapers was a mystery to me at first, and during one of my searches for information I read that tea tree oil was something that many mothers added to the wash water to prevent nasty things from growing in the diapers.

More searching, and I found myself on the site for Nature’s Gift.  I found pages of information about more essential oils than I ever knew existed!  It started me on the path to more research about the uses of essential oils and I felt comfortable enough to order a bottle of tea tree oil from them.

It came quickly, and included with my order were a few sample vials of more essential oils.  Over the last 7 years, I have made many more purchases, and I have NEVER been disappointed.

I was reminded again of how I love their speedy service when I placed an order on Tuesday for their Mercy Gel.  I picked up a case of staph while in the hospital with my youngest, and every once in a while it crops again in her or me.  On Tuesday, I noticed the tell-tale signs of another outbreak and I kicked myself for not ordering Mercy Gel when I first read about it a few months ago. This blend has been found to be effective against MRSA, and I noticed an improvement within 24 hours on my daughter.

I placed an order in the middle of the night Tuesday (so, actually Wednesday morning) and it arrived in my mailbox Friday morning — along with 4 sample vials of new yummy things for me to try and smell.

I still use tea tree oil in my laundry — but now that I no longer have any in diapers, I use it whenever a stomach bug rolls through the house.  I found that I prefer the scent of light tea tree oil (something I wouldn’t have even tried if I didn’t get a sample vial once!)

I also keep lavender on hand for burns and scrapes (I put a few drops in a bowl of cold water, dip a cloth in the water, wring it and apply it.)  Lavender is good for easing pain, as well as helping calm emotions.

For colds and respiratory issues, I use eucalyptus in a diffuser — or sometimes just place a few drops in the bottom of the tub during a shower.  And, then, there’s Ravensara which helps boost the immune system.

I could go on and on about the many essential oils we use in our home!  (Oh!  and peppermint oil for morning sickness!)  But, this post was supposed to be about Nature’s Gift.

The people who run this company are wonderfully kind and helpful.  Their website is full to the brim with excellent and useful information. Their shipping is super-fast and their product is top-notch.

They take especial care in choosing the products they offer, and will pull a product if it doesn’t meet their high standards. I have never been anything but super-pleased with their products and their service.  I have never had an issue, but they seem so wonderful that I’m sure they would handle it promptly if there ever was an issue!

If you are interested in aromatherapy, or are in need of essential oils, I highly recommend checking out Nature’s Gift.
