The Shopping Vacation Has Ended

Remember me? I’m the one who said I was going on vacation back in October, or was it November?

Well I’m back from my 120-day cruise around the world where I landed in every exotic port and tropical island I could find on the map. No, I’m not sunburned because I lubed up with super extra strong SPF 50 lotion and I protected my delicate blonde tresses with the fanciest sun hats I could find.

In between all the swimming, sunbathing and relaxing on this dream cruise, I even found my Prince Charming, who swept me off my feet…

…and brought me back to the reality that is my life.

So, that’s the story I’m stickin’ with to explain my long absence (although I really DID find my Prince Charming…)  The true story would bore you to tears.

I apologize for being a negligent friend, BUT I can’t apologize for taking this much needed break because now I’m back in the game and excited to get back to work making Moms Love Shopping the premier resource for shopping deals, reviews and advice.

To show you how serious I am about this, I’d like to officially introduce you to two amazing women who have joined my team to keep this website moving forward. You may have already noticed them assisting me since the end of November when I took my suitcases and boarded the cruise ship (internet access is iffy out at sea, you know)

. Melanie Rogers is a wife and homeschooling mom of 3 children. She enjoys helping other busy moms find great products to delight their families and make their lives easier.

Kacie Pruitt is a married mother of two young sons who recently became a full time stay at home mom. She looks forward to learning how to shop on a fixed income and sharing her experiences with other moms.

More moms could be added to the mix soon! Watch for details if YOU are interested in taking part.

One last tidbit before I go (see, look how I’m rambling…I’m back to my old self!) Yesterday I went on a grocery shopping spree with a local mom I met thru Twitter (follow us!) and we took a Ford Flex on a test drive. So watch for the photos/videos/updates coming in the next few days.
