Smart Coupon Strategies – Show #22

Supermarket Savings 101 Ebook This week is Part Two of my interview with Crystal Paine of Money Saving Mom.

Last week Crystal shared with us the basics of meal planning and scoping out sales at the grocery stores. This week she imparts some easy and very clever ways to use coupons on these very same sales items so you end up paying pennies for the things your family uses.

Crystal goes into detail about the rewards plans from CVS and Walgreens and raves about the coupon savings at Target. Did you know that you can use a store coupon AND a manufacturer’s coupon on the same item? If the item is on sale, you could make some money on the deal! The same goes for rebates so don’t pass those up! Simply get a duplicate receipt and make some money from shopping.

If you haven’t already, listen to Part One of this interview with Crystal:

I just wanted to remind people that when there is a bogo deal going on for anything you should always remember you can use two coupons for that product making the one you have to pay for cost very little. Sometimes the simple things like this get overlooked and people think because they are only paying for one item that they can only use one coupon.

still new at couponing, just a few questions if anyone would like to help. If you use a B1G1 Q can you use another coupon for the same item if it is something like $2/1, could you use two of them, one for the original item and one for the one you are getting free? Also if i purchased something on sale and used coupon and got it totally free, can you still use the rebate for it since you didn’t actually spend money on it? Thanks for listening and any comments would be very appreciated, you can mail me at mgarrett9782@yahoo.com
    THANKS
