I’m your host, Chele Neisler. I just have to tell you… I’m so excited about this topic and being able to share it with you! I hope you’ll not only listen every Friday, but also PARTICIPATE! I’d love to read about your ideas, comments, questions, shopping irritations, great bargains and more here on the blog, but I’d really love to hear them as well. Give us a call at our listener line and tell it like it is!
So maybe you are asking yourself at this moment, “Who the heck is Chele and what’s so important about shopping”? Of course you are… you are a mom and it’s in your nature to ask questions! =)
A little about Chele:
If the name looks familiar, you may have seen me around the WAHM community as Chele from ChelesTreasures.com. If you aren’t familiar, that’s ok. You’ll know me now!
First, I am a mother of three boys. My baby starts kindergarten on Monday, my middle child is in the first grade and my oldest boy started Jr. High this year (my days of being a cool mom are severely numbered now). Occassionally, you may think I have lost my mind because I will refer to my TWO sons instead of THREE sons so let me clear the air up front. =) A few years ago, my oldest son decided he wanted to live with his father now that he’s getting older. Since his father lives two states away, it was a heart breaking decision, but one I felt was appropriate. We now see each other during the summer and school holidays (and spend lots of time in airports).
I have creatively worked at home since my oldest son was a toddler and been on the internet since AOL was born and Ebay was a wierd word! Shortly after, I graduated from AOL, mastered buying and selling on Ebay and became a full blown NERD. Shortly after that, Chele’s Treasures was born. At this time, I was a single mother and I met Kelly McCausey in a networking group. We’ve been pals since then, so you can imagine how “GEEKED” I am about hosting this show for her!
I think you’ll find that I’m fairly down-to-earth and easy to relate to. I’ve walked in lots of shoes in this lifetime. I’ve been blessed with plenty at times in my life and I’ve scraped by as well. I appreciate a good bargain but I also know the urge of impulse shopping. I have taken $20 to a grocery store and fed a family of 5 for a little over a week and I’ve also blown money like it was going out of style, so whatever your current situation is, I can totally relate!
